36. 또 우리의 맏아들들과 생축의 처음 난 것과 우양의 처음 난 것을 율법에 기록된대로 우리 하나님의 전으로 가져다가 우리 하나님의 전에서 섬기는 제사장들에게 주고
37. 또 처음 익은 밀의 가루와 거제물과 각종 과목의열매와 새포도주와 기름을 제사장들에게로 가져다가 우리 하나님의 전골방에 두고 또 우리 물산의십일조를 레위 사람들에게 주리라 하였나니 이 레위 사람들은 우리의 모든 성읍에서 물산의십일조를 받는 자임이며
38. 레위 사람들이십일조를 받을 때에는아론의 자손 제사장 하나가 함께 있을 것이요 레위 사람들은 그십일조의 십분 일을 가져다가 우리 하나님의 전골방곧곳간에 두되
39. 곧 이스라엘 자손과레위자손이거제로 드린바곡식과 새포도주와 기름을 가져다가 성소의 기명을 두는골방곧 섬기는 제사장들과 및 문지기들과노래하는 자들이 있는골방에 둘 것이라 그리하여 우리가 우리 하나님의 전을 버리지 아니하리라
28. "The rest of the people--priests, Levites, gatekeepers, singers, temple servants and all who separated themselves from the neighboring peoples for the sake of the Law of God, together with their wives and all their sons and daughters who are able to understand-
29. all these now join theirbrothers the nobles, and bind themselves with acurseand an oath to follow the Law of God given through Moses the servant of God and to obey carefully all the commands, regulations and decrees of the LORD our Lord.
30. "We promise not to give our daughters inmarriageto the peoples around us or take their daughters for our sons.
31. "When the neighboring peoples bring merchandise or grainto sell on the Sabbath, we will not buy from them on the Sabbath or on any holyday. Every seventh year we will forgo working the land and will cancel all debts.
32. "We assume the responsibility for carrying out the commands to give a third of ashekeleach year for the service of the house of our God:
33. for the bread set out on the table; for the regulargrainofferings and burntofferings; for theofferings on the Sabbaths, New Moon festivals and appointed feasts; for the holyofferings; forsinofferings to make atonement for Israel; and for all the duties of the house of our God.
34. "We--the priests, the Levites and the people--have cast lots to determine when each of our families is to bring to the house of our God at set times each year a contribution ofwoodto burn on thealtarof the LORD our God, as it is written in the Law.
35. "We also assume responsibility for bringing to the house of the LORD each year the firstfruits of our crops and of everyfruittree.
36. "As it is also written in the Law, we will bring the firstborn of our sons and of our cattle, of our herds and of our flocks to the house of our God, to the priests ministering there.
37. "Moreover, we will bring to the storerooms of the house of our God, to the priests, the first of our ground meal, of our grain offerings, of thefruitof all our trees and of our newwineand oil. And we will bring atitheof our crops to the Levites, for it is the Levites who collect thetithes in all the towns where we work.
38. A priest descended from Aaron is to accompany the Levites when they receive thetithes, and the Levites are to bring a tenth of thetithes up to the house of our God, to the storerooms of thetreasury.
39. The people of Israel, including the Levites, are to bring their contributions ofgrain, newwineand oil to the storerooms where the articles for the sanctuary are kept and where the ministering priests, the gatekeepers and the singers stay. "We will not neglect the house of our God."
